GMAT
INTENSIVE

An Intensive Skill-focused Course that puts you on the path to your target score

As most of us realize, simply practicing more and more questions is not the way to get that high GMAT score.

You’ve watched your friends and peers get great scores in what might seem like no time at all.

There is just one small problem – for some unknown reason you are not able to get that high score despite putting in some serious effort.

So you do what most test takers do: you practice more questions.

You go through multiple Official Guides, Quant and Verbal Review books, and perhaps even various non-official sources.

Maybe you even join a course or two, go through YouTube videos, or go through books.

Just that, the hundreds of hours you invest in preparation do not even get you close to the kind of scores you expected.

But never mind – there is still time.

And if you keep practicing more questions and revising concepts, the GMAT adaptive algorithm will work in your favour eventually, right?

Well, not really.

Because, you see …

Putting in efforts without a clear understanding of what exactly you need to work upon to improve will not get you the results you desire.

And what's worse ...

You interpret this “inability” to get a high GMAT score to mean a lot more.

You start visualizing a stand-still career path.

You start questioning your smartness in all walks of life.

You put everything else in your life on-hold.

What if there was a more effective way to prepare for the GMAT?

  • A way that enables you to measure your progress intrinsically rather than through your accuracy and scores in practice tests.
  • A way through which you also learn and grow yourself along the way.
  • A way through which you would deserve a high score, and not just desire one.

Good news! There is.

And it all starts with realizing that
GMAT is a test of skills.

GMAT is not a mathematics and English language test.

GMAT is a test for admissions into a management program. Think about it, if you were in-charge of deciding how to select individuals for a certain program, wouldn’t you, in your selection process, only include those items that you believe would help you make the right selections for the program? Why would the GMAT be any different?

GMAT evaluates the skills that the makers of the GMAT and admission committees of B-schools believe are required to do well during and beyond an MBA. It is these skills that are tested on the GMAT. Math and English are simply means to evaluate those skills.

Thus, if your preparation is not helping you build those skills, you are working against the tide and you face an uphill challenge.

Instead, if your preparation is helping you build the core skills that the test evaluates, you would feel more comfortable as you progress, and you will not see GMAT as a black box in which you do not understand how things work. You will start feeling good about your prep and noticing improvement even without the need of scores and answer sheets.

Even better?

You’d start seeing an increase in speed, accuracy, and all the nice things related with the GMAT.

So who are we to be telling you all this?

Hi, I am Anish Passi I’m a GMAT coach based in Delhi, India although my students are international.

Teaching has been a big part of my life. From teaching programming and Math courses as a Teaching Assistant during my undergrad years at McMaster University, Canada, to taking CAT classes, part-time, while pursing my MBA at IIM Ahemdabad, teaching has always been a passion.

Hi, I am Chiranjeev Singh. I’m a GMAT coach based in Delhi, India helping students across the globe.

I teach the way I have learned – through persistent questioning. The series of whys and hows forces students to think deeper and clearer than they normally would. While my methods help students score higher on the GMAT, they are meant to make a person learn anything at depth.

Batch Details

Our batch timings are typically 7 AM and 7 PM IST. Next batches will launch in September. Enter the waitlist below.

Here’s what you’ll learn inside the GMAT INTENSIVE

VERBAL SECTION

Reading and Reasoning skills

In this section we will discuss the way of reading needed for the GMAT, and we will implement that way in CR, RC and SC questions.

Module 1: Critical Reasoning

We’ll work upon the core skills that are tested on the Critical Reasoning. We will help you develop those skills, and we will implement those skills to tackle 700-level official CR questions.

We’ll cover an approach to practice in order to improve your skills.

Module 2: Reading Comprehension

In this module we’ll use a 700-level RC passage to understand how to go about reading a passage, and understanding its reasoning structure. We’ll also cover how to answer RC questions – including inference and main-point questions.

Module 3: Sentence Correction

Through the Sentence Correct module you’d get a clear understanding of what approach to follow to answer an SC question. You’d understand how to decipher the meaning of a sentence, and how to go about the answer choices.

The module will cover a few but not all grammar rules in depth.

QUANT SECTION

Skill 1: The layer of logic

In the subsequent quant topics, we will understand logically what each of these topics mean, and will try to add a logical approach to solving questions.

Skill 2: Physical Entities, not Mathematical variables In the quant topics, we will also discuss how to deal with quantities as physical entities that we can visualize and understand, and not simply as mathematical variables that we need to use to solve. Skill 3: The Skill of Reading We will see that the skill of reading continues to serve an extremely important role in the Quant section as well.

Module 4: Building the base

We’ll focus on how to practice and track your improvement through never-before-seen “Quality of Solution” parameters. We’ll also cover the fundamental concepts of arithmetic, ratios, and percents.

Module 5: Data Sufficiency

We’ll cover a sure-shot approach to solving DS questions. We will share a structured approach that will help you avoid careless errors and oversights. We’ll implement it all on 700-level DS questions.

Module 6: Number Properties and Inequalities

We’ll introduce something that we call the “layer of logic” and how it helps make the otherwise-nasty-looking questions easy to solve.

Module 7: Word Problems

We continue to apply the “layer of logic“. We’ll also showcase how one of the core skills from the verbal section continues to play a major role in Quant as well. We’ll see the skill in action, and dive deeper into what exactly the quant section tests.

Module 8: Geometry

We’ll see how Geometry is a test of spatial reasoning and learn how to visually understand and manipulate questions. We’ll also cover Co-ordinate Geometry.

Module 9: Counting and Probability

While we may call it permutations and combinations, at the heart of it all is simply counting.

We’ll take a deep look at counting and probability and we will relate these mathematical concepts with our daily activities to understand these concepts at a more fundamental level.

We have some pretty awesome bonuses for you as well!

Bonus 1

Regular office hours
To answer any queries you might have related with our sessions or your preparation.

Bonus 2

GMAT INTENSIVE is for you if …

You are just starting off on your GMAT journey (0 - 3 months of prep).

You have been preparing for a while, but you still do not see significant improvement, and you're not sure why.

You understand that you need a structured approach, however the plethora of content is so overwhelming, that you find yourself doing a little bit of this and a little bit of that without a clear path.

You look at your peers who have done well and debriefs of test-takers online who have scored 700+ scores and try to decode their strategy, but you find that you still do not have the clarity.

You are willing to put in efforts to fundamentally change and improve your way of preparation, and you're not looking for a "quick-fix" or a "hack" to try to get a good score.

You understand that going deep rather than going wide will help you

You are willing to support other participants of the course. A rising tide lifts all boats after all!

"Anish, is the best trainer I came across. Genuinely, he gave his best and actually one should train anyone this way only. You ‘taught us to fish’ rather than spoon feeding."
Mayank Tiwari
I find Chiranjeev a person of high caliber, intelligence, and integrity. He will strip you of your superficial learning and get to the meat and bones real fast.
Gursher Harika
"You have excellently explained and helped us with all the topics whether be it Verbal or Quant. I really appreciate the way you have helped us look thoroughly through each and every problem. This has changed my view of solving the problems and helped me a lot."
Vaasavi Singh

Here’s everything you’ll receive once your enroll in the GMAT INTENSIVE:

Drills associated with each module built into the course to help you understand the core concept.

Pre and post session homework to help you get the most out of the course.

High focus on process

We will maintain a very clear focus on helping you understand the process we follow to understand and answer questions. To get there, we will go extremely deep into a handful of questions, and not worry about the breadth of questions covered. For example, in the two Reading Comprehension sessions, we will cover one passage and its questions each. We’ll dissect the passages to a completely granular level to explain the process of how to handle Reading Comprehension on the exam. Post our sessions, you will have the tools to apply the takeaways to your prep and practice to improve your ability.

The course will be interactive, so test your speakers, mics and cameras.

Almost.

We’ll cover all the important concepts and work on the processes and the skills required to apply those concepts. However, some grammar rules and simpler mathematical concepts will not be covered in the course.

You can find the detailed schedule here: GMAT Intensive Schedule

For any learner just starting their GMAT journey, and anyone who is unsure about how to further improve.

We’ll all be there to learn. The questions you’d have, many others would have also. So, interaction helps everyone. Plus, it helps keep the sessions lively.

We like to keep our sessions interactive. That way we can ask questions based on your answers to help develop your understanding. If you would like to be a silent participant, we will respect that. But, we do recommend that you participate to maximize your learning.

We will work on the foundation in a way that we believe will help you get a high score. We do not cover tricks and hacks. If you are looking for a short-cut to get a good score without putting in the effort, this would not be a good fit.

We focus on depth, and not breadth. If you are looking for a high quantity of questions per session, this course is not right for you.

In our CR sessions, we typically cover 2-3 questions/ session

In SC: 7-8/ session
In RC: 1 passage / session
In Quant: 7-10 questions/ session

Within these questions, we go threadbare and explore all aspects of the questions in-depth.

So, if you value quality over quantity and depth over width, and if you’re willing to learn, no matter where you are in your GMAT prep journey, the course will help.

We recommend that you:
1. Revise each session
2. Do the drills associated with each lesson.
3. Do all the pre-work and post-work for each session.

Doing these activities could take you anywhere from 1 – 4 hours every day.

Anish and CJ will both be a part of both the batches in equal capacity.

Anish and CJ will be both involved with Quant and Verbal. The 31 sessions will be almost evenly split between them.

Yes. During office hours, Anish or CJ will be available to handle your doubts. These doubt-sessions will be for the entire batch, and not 1-on-1.

No. The Office Hours are group sessions. You can certainly ask your questions.

We ask that you make your questions specific, and show that you have put in thought.

E.g., it will not make sense for us to take up a question like: “Can you please explain this CR question?”

If you ask us, “I could not understand why option C is wrong, the passage already gives such and such details. What am I missing?” We’d be happy to try to work with you to help you understand it.

Perfect! That means you don’t have years of bad habits we need to undo. If you’re just starting out this is a great opportunity to build a clean foundation from the get-go.

When it comes down to it, the question of whether the GMAT INTENSIVE is worth the investment is really up to you.

Of course, you can find heaps of advice online for free, but in reality, you’re probably already wasting hours searching for answers to simple questions, only to wind up feeling none the wiser.

Alternatively, you can make a one-time investment in the GMAT INTENSIVE and receive access to a course that promises to help you prepare for the GMAT in a way that is logical, measurable and enjoyable.

The bottom line?

When you join this course, you’re investing in more than just an online program – you’re investing in yourself and your future.

Good question. Anish and Chiranjeev are among the top GMAT tutors in India and have been in the GMAT space since 2012.

You can go through verified reviews that both have received on their respective Google and LinkedIn profiles to see what their past students have to say. Plus, we offer a 100% money-back guarantee within the first 72 hours, so you have nothing to lose.

The simple answer? You don’t. We don’t either.

The truth is, we have no idea what you do when we’re not in the session, or how good you are at following instructions and executing new ideas.

All we can do is point you to our testimonials so you can see what happens when people who were once in the position you’re in now commit to following our process and take action.

When you see something that you know you need, it’s easy to think to yourself “I’ll put this off until a “better” time. The only trouble is, no such time exists, and before you know it, you’ve wasted weeks you could have used to improve your GMAT standing, and you’re still frustrated and dissatisfied.

Part of our role as educators is to hold you to the same high standards that we hold for ourselves and encourage you to take decisive actions.

That’s why we only offer the GMAT INTENSIVE for a short period — to help you quickly decide whether it’s the right option for you, so you don’t waste time procrastinating or avoid making a decision.

And, don’t forget. The course is currently offered at a pre-launch fee. The fee is bound to go up in the future.

Payment can be made through credit or debit cards, netbanking and various wallets.

The facility to make international payments will be added in 5 days.

Once you register, you’ll get access to the GMAT INTENSIVE course which will have all relevant details.

We’re pretty sure that once you step inside The GMAT INTENSIVE and get a taste of preparing for the GMAT in a logical manner, you won’t want to leave.

After the first 3 sessions, if you feel the course is not for you, you may ask for a no-questions-asked refund. We do require that you attend all three live sessions. You may ask for a refund within 24 hours of the end of the 3rd session.

Write to us at support@thegmatco.com with your questions, and we’ll get back to you.

Good news! You can now enroll for Verbal classes only if you so desire.
